MWS-24RF-B Blast Furnace Level Sensor is a microwave Range Finder which consists of an antenna and controller. The sensor is installed at the top of the furnace and is used for monitoring the operation of the furnace, in real time, by continuously measuring the burden level. The mWave software also displays the level trend of the coke/iron ore rising and falling over time.

MWS-45RF-P2D Blast Furnace Profile Meter is an FM-CW Radar type Milliwave Range Finder. Developed for a two-dimensional profile measurement of charging materials (coke or iron ore), the sensor consists of a controller, antenna, adjustable reflector, enclosure, local control panel, and valve.

The MWS-DP-3-24V microwave solids flow sensor detects the flow of fine powdered coal to be supplied to the blast furnace in a PCI system. This sensor utilizes the high penetrability of microwaves and the Doppler effect.
The sensing head transmits microwaves towards fine powered coal flowing in the pipe.
A portion of the microwaves are reflected back to the sensing head, creating a frequency shift between the transmitted and reflected waves by means of the Doppler effect. The presence or absent of the frequency shift allows for the detection of flow or non-flow of the fine powdered coal in the pipe.
The microwaves penetrate ceramic piping fixed in stainless steel pipes, allowing for non-contact detection of the flow.
