Product Tracking Sensor

WADECO's Microwave based Product Tracking Sensors have been developed as an alternative to infrared based hot metal detectors (HMDs), laser/optical barriers and gamma ray sensors commonly used for product tracking in steel mills.

Microwaves are unaffected by dense vapor, heavy dust, high temperatures and easily penetrate dirt buildup on the antenna head.

Insensitive to harsh environments and unaffected by product temperature variation, they are the ultimate in slab, strip & coil tracking in hot or cold rolling mills.
